Guest Reviews
We had a fantastic stay within a perfect distance to Beech Mtn Ski Resort and other surrounding areas such as Banner Elk. Would highly recommend Nick’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway to the mountains or anyone looking to hit the slopes or other summer activities on the mountain!
Always a pleasure to stay at Nick’s. Thank you!
Really an amazing neighborhood with beautiful views and lots to do, see, and eat nearby. The spacious living room and dining table setup worked great for our group, and we appreciated the covered driveway for unloading in the rain. We saw deer multiple days in the front and back yards, which was a fun surprise! The host was also very communicative and friendly throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. All of that said, the house could benefit from a deeper clean, especially in the bathrooms, and a few small maintenance items need attention. These weren’t major issues, but they did affect the overall feel of the stay, and we are communicating them with the host. Still a good getaway weekend in this lovable vintage mountaintop lodge, just not quite in 5‑star condition as‑is.
Great stay for me and my family!
My crews first pick when staying in banner elk area :) thank you for having us again!
