Welcome to Stone Creek Cabin, a custom-built luxury retreat where mountain-modern design meets peaceful creekside living. Nestled on 2 flat acres in a quiet meadow with valley views and a bold running creek, this 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home is the perfect family-friendly escape just minutes from downtown Boone, Valle Crucis, and the Watauga River.
Designed with comfort and connection in mind, the home features an open layout with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the outdoors in. The chef’s kitchen boasts high-end stainless appliances, leathered granite counters, and seating for up to 14 guests between the dining table and island bar. After dinner, unwind in the spacious living room by the stone fireplace or head outside to the covered deck for a drink by the fire pit.
Enjoy resort-style amenities including a hot tub, pool table, HD Smart TVs throughout, high-speed Wi-Fi, central heat & AC, and a gas grill.
Two king suites (one on the main level, one upstairs) each offer private ensuite baths with custom tile showers and granite vanities. Downstairs, you’ll find a cozy den with sleeper sofa, a game room with pool table, and two additional bedrooms—a queen room and a bunk room with two twin-over-twin bunks—plus a large shared bath with soaking tub.
Step outside to the expansive flat meadow where kids and dogs can run freely (pet-friendly, restrictions apply). The creek at the edge of the property is perfect for wading and exploring.
Whether you’re roasting marshmallows under the stars at the fire pit, grilling dinner on the oversized 40' wide deck with adirondack chairs and polywood dining table, or soaking in the hot tub after a day of adventure, this home is designed for relaxation.

We had a lovely and comfortable stay and would highly recommend this house. The layout was comfortable for 4 adults and 5 children, with a spacious living area upstairs, more living space downstairs and lots of deck space outside. The meadow is lovely for the kids to play, with soft grass and a small creek. We’ve never seen so many fireflies! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was decently stocked. I also have a highly sensitive nose and was pleased with cleaning products / laundry. The location is so peaceful but also near Boone (15 minutes). I was concerned about steep or winding roads and the drive to the house was very manageable.
Our family really enjoyed our stay at Nicks place. First it was clean, well equipped and beautifully set up for quality family time. The yard was a great place for kids and dogs to romp, and the fire pit capped one of our great days there. You cannot beat the location. Quiet neighborhood roads to walk, waterfalls, Boone, the Parkway and activities for the kids all no more than 30 minutes away. A nomination from our crew as a place to come back to is rare. All agreed we should return!
Nick was/ is a great host. There were a couple of things I noticed on our arrival or soon after we started to get settled that I mentioned to Nick and he addressed them immediately. One of them was even to have the grass mowed because our family was having pictures taken while we were there and Nick took care of that as soon as he could book the crew he uses. He appreciated anything I did mention to him as his desire was to provide an excellent experience to us. The other issue the baby gate they had. Nick contacted a friend within the community and they did not rest until this issue was resolved. So kind and attentive.
Our family loved this home! Plenty of room for everyone - inside and outside on the deck. We loved playing pool as a family and listening to music. The house was spotless and well stocked for our needs. Even with the rainy weekend we were sit on the deck and enjoy coffee and the view! We would love to return and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful home close to Boone and the beauty of the High Country.
Beautiful cabin in a great location. Nick was great! Lots of communication along key steps. Location is great - just 15 min from downtown Boone. Would definitely rebook here!
