Shiloh Ridge

Welcome to Shiloh Ridge. Two bedrooms, two king beds, two private ensuite baths - and the living room sitting between them, so two couples can share the house and each still have their own end of it. You're at 4,250 feet inside gated Eagle's Nest, a short walk from the Great Camp, with ridgelines running into Tennessee and Virginia off the back deck. Hot tub, gas grill, stone fire pit. Central A/C, gas fireplace, fast wifi, dogs welcome, self check-in. Beech and Sugar are minutes away.

Most two-bedroom homes make you decide who gets the good room. This one doesn't. Both bedrooms at Shiloh Ridge are king suites with their own private bathroom, and the living room sits between them - so two couples, or a couple traveling with parents, each get their own end of the house and nobody shares a wall or a sink.

Shiloh Ridge is situated at 4,250 feet inside the gates of Eagle's Nest, in Camp Eagles Nest, a short walk from the Great Camp one way and the North Pavilion the other. Off the back deck the ridgelines fall away in layers and keep going into Tennessee and Virginia.

The Living Room - Open to the view, with a gas log fireplace on a remote and a couch made for sinking into after a day on the mountain! The flat-screen streams your own accounts, and Samsung TV Plus throws in news channels. There is also a recliner so you can kick back and fully relax in the mountains!

The Kitchen - A huge island with stools for six, quartz counters, stainless appliances, and a real set of cookware, dishes and knives. A Keurig K-Duo Plus handles pods or grounds, and there's a drip carafe for the mornings when one cup won't do it. The laundry room is its own room, just off the kitchen.

Bedroom One - King bed, private ensuite bath, and its own TV.

Bedroom Two - King bed, private ensuite bath, and its own TV. There's a loft above this room reached by ladder.

The sofa is a sleeper sofa accommodating two more guests.

Please note: The additional loft sleeping area above the 2nd Master Bedroom is located approximately 9 feet above the main floor and is accessible only via a ladder. For the safety of guests, this space is not suitable for unsupervised children or those with limited mobility. We recommend that guests consider the need for ladder navigation, particularly during the night, before choosing this sleeping area.

The Half Bath - A guest powder room off the living space, so the two ensuites stay private.

The Back Deck - The heart of the house in every season. The hot tub sits out here under the sky, alongside a gas grill, a covered dining table, and a gas fire table circled by Adirondack chairs. On a clear night the stars are absurd.

The Fire Pit - A stone wood-burning fire pit at the back of the house. Bring marshmallows! Firewood is available at the on-site Dollar General.

The Front Deck - Covered and gated so a dog can be outside with you without a leash.

Bringing The Dog - Two dogs are welcome, and the gated front deck plus the North Pavilion dog park make it easy. Trails start right at the driveway.

Some of the main amenities in Eagle's Nest, including pickleball, basketball, the playground and a fishing area are within walking distance!

Getting Comfortable - Central air conditioning, heating throughout, and wifi in the whole house. Linens, towels and starter toiletries are all provided - bring groceries and clothes and that's about it.

Where You Are - Banner Elk is a few minutes down the mountain. Beech Mountain is about 10-15 minutes and Sugar about 15-20, close enough for a half day on the slopes and get back in the hot tub after!
