About Laurel Ridge
Welcome to Laurel Ridge, a brand-new (2026 built) 4-bedroom lodge at 5,200 feet inside gated Eagle's Nest. Long-range ridgelines open off two levels of covered decks — one with a stone fireplace and heaters, one with the hot tub. Below, a stone fire pit ring anchors the turf lawn. Inside, a vaulted great room, a gas-range kitchen, a movie room with shuffleboard, and two king suites. Sleeps 8, dogs welcome, self check-in. The community winery is minutes away, Beech about 15 and Sugar about 20.
Laurel Ridge is brand new (2026). The paint is fresh, the beams are still bright, and you may be among the very first guests to ever set a coffee cup on the island. It sits in Laurel Village inside the gates of Eagles Nest, high enough that summer nights need a blanket and fall arrives early.
PLEASE NOTE: Laurel Ridge is located in one of the newest areas of Eagle's Nest and construction may be in progress during the daytime, particularly midweeks.
The house is built around the view. Knotty pine climbs two stories to a gabled window wall, and the glass doors slide open onto a covered deck with a stone fireplace, infrared heaters, and a slow-turning fan - a room you can use in February. One level down, the hot tub waits under cover, and below that a stone fire pit ring sits in the middle of a turf lawn with four Adirondack chairs pulled around it.
The Great Room - Vaulted knotty pine on stained beams, a stacked fieldstone chimney with a gas fireplace and a hewn timber mantel, a TV above it, and an ivory sectional deep enough for the whole group. Two leather club chairs pull in for card games.
The Kitchen - White quartz counters and a full slab backsplash, a black apron-front farmhouse sink under the window, a professional five-burner gas cooktop under a black hood, double wall ovens, a french-door refrigerator with ice and water in the door, and a coffee maker on the counter. Three glass pendants hang over the island with stools pulled up.
The Movie Room - Downstairs behind a black shiplap wall: an oversized screen, a linear ember fireplace glowing beneath it, and a sectional built for sinking into. A full shuffleboard table runs the wall.
The Bedrooms - Four bedrooms sleeping 8: two king suites and two queen rooms. One has a black shiplap accent wall under a vaulted beamed ceiling; another opens toward the deck and has its own TV. Beds are made up with fresh linens before you arrive.
The Baths - Three and a half. The primary bath has an oversized walk-in shower behind frameless glass with a window letting green light in, a double quartz vanity, and matte black fixtures.
The Decks - Two levels, both covered. Upper: stone outdoor fireplace, wicker seating, heaters, ceiling fan. Lower: the hot tub, stone steps climbing the hillside behind it.
Family Ready - The turf lawn drains fast and stays clean, the fire pit is a contained smokeless insert, and the movie room downstairs gives the kids their own floor. Dogs are welcome.
Getting Comfortable - Heating throughout, wifi, and TVs in the great room, movie room and a bedroom. Bring layers; at 5,200 feet the evenings cool off fast even in July.
A note on stairs - This is a multi-level mountain home. There are exterior stairs up from the driveway to the front door, interior stairs to the lower level, and stairs down to the hot tub deck. There is no elevator and no single-level option.
