River Access is a 5 minute drive away from the property at Todd Island Access Point. It allows for kayak access and wading.

Nick’s place was exactly as described and was perfect for our group of six adults and four kids. There was plenty of space and something for everyone to enjoy. The sectional in the living room was incredibly comfortable (and large), and the kitchen was very well stocked with all the utensils, which made it easy for us to cook at home every night. We also really appreciated the Keurig setup, which had both a full coffee pot and the option to use pods. The views were incredible and the property felt very private, while still being conveniently located near Blowing Rock, Boone, and West Jefferson. The beds were comfortable, and having TVs in all the bedrooms as well as the game room was a nice bonus. Nick was also very communicative both leading up to our trip and throughout our stay. Whenever I had a question, including about the hot tub, he was quick to respond and helpful. We had a great stay and would absolutely recommend Nick’s place.
A perfect little mountain escape — spacious, peaceful, and beautifully kept. The views were stunning from every window, the hot tub was the ideal end‑of‑day treat, and the home itself felt warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. Truly a wonderful getaway. Our host was pleasant to communicate with and made the whole experience memorable. Our family would definitely return in the future.
We had a wonderful stay! This lovely new home is spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you need to feel right at home. The location is a big plus, it’s nestled among so many of the sights and attractions that bring you to the area, making it a great home base for exploring. There’s plenty of room to spread out and relax after a day of sightseeing. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it!

What a great stay. A group of 8 of us all rode our Harleys from Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, Virginia to ride 421. Although it rained, we were still able to ride a good amount. Gravel road was challenging for us on two wheels, but worth the view from where this house is.
When we checked in we were certain we were the first to stay there it was so clean and comfortable. All modern and up to date amenities. Perfect host and property. Would definitely stay there again.
