River Access is a 5 minute drive away from the property at Todd Island Access Point. It allows for kayak access and wading.
AWD or 4WD is highly recommended during the winter months if weather conditions are adverse.

Spent a week in April at Gabby’s Getaway. As others have mentioned, it’s among the very best we have ever stayed. As advertised the view is outstanding. Close enough to attractions, but far enough away to feel like you’re on top of the world. Our only suggestion would be some kind of screen for the hot tub, as there is a singular neighbor in the line of sight. Thanks to Nick.
Amazing
We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house was beautiful, clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. The location was incredible, with stunning views that made the whole experience even more special. Nick was a fantastic host! Very helpful and always clear with directions and communication whenever we needed anything. Everything about the stay was smooth and enjoyable. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great mountain getaway!
Our short vacation ay Gabby's Gateway in Deep Gap was phenomenal. The house was beyond our expectations. We were 2 families of 4 with 4 teenage/young adult boys. There was plenty of room for all of us. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our boys loved the game room and hot tub. The views from this house are exceptional. Being right in the mountains felt so serene, especially in this immaculate home. The Adirondack chairs on the the top deck were the perfect place to curl up, read a book and take in the scenery and the sounds of nature. Nick was the perfect host. He responded to all my questions very quickly and he was incredibly kind. This house was the perfect place for our family to unwind and create lasting memories. Thank you!!!
The home is so beautiful and amazing. It was very bright and all around just a perfect. I usually feel creeped out any time I go somewhere but I felt safe and not spooked out here lol on top of the home being perfect the views were stunning thank you for having us!
My friends and I stayed at Nick’s place this past weekend and had an incredible experience. The house is absolutely beautiful, spacious, and very well maintained. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean and cozy, and the views were stunning. The location was perfect, close to town and the ski resorts. Check-in was seamless, and even the drive in was breathtaking. Nick was extremely friendly and responsive throughout our stay. We really appreciated his hospitality and would highly recommend his home to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway. Thank you again for having us!
