Welcome to Find the Joy, a brand-new, 4000+ square foot luxury retreat in Blowing Rock’s premier gated SweetGrass community, with access to a shared lakehouse with amenities such as a gourmet kitchen, game room, fitness center, and Wi-Fi, along with outdoor features like a patio, fire pit, sandy beach, and fishing docks where you can catch rainbow trout, and even canoes!
Nestled at the base of Grandfather Mountain and just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, this home combines breathtaking mountain views with the charm of a private lake, walking trails, and exclusive community amenities.
Inside, soaring timber-frame ceilings and a grand stone fireplace set the tone for cozy gatherings. The open-concept living space flows into a chef’s kitchen with stainless appliances, granite counters, and seating for the whole group.

We absolutely loved staying on your property. It was perfect for the four women I had invited to enjoy a long weekend. I would highly recommend this house. It was perfect for everything that we were looking for.
What a serene and peaceful place! The highlight of our stay was definitely the dual fireplace, which kept us cozy and entertained during the rainy days. It created such a warm, intimate atmosphere and made the whole experience feel extra special. We would absolutely recommend this place for families looking for a peaceful getaway or for a romantic escape. A truly cozy retreat!

This is a beautiful home with lots of amenities. The lake and creeks in the neighborhood were outstanding, as well as the many trails. Our host stayed in contact and was very responsive when we had questions. The only suggestion I have for guests is that you either write down the gate and house entry codes before arriving, or take screen shots. We did not have a cell signal once we arrived at the gate, so we were unable to open our account or email to get the codes. Luckily a resident pulled up behind us and let us in. I had taken a screen shot of the house code, so we were able to easily get in. Once inside we were able to connect to WiFi and access to everything we needed.
