Elk Laurel is the first home built in a 14-acre development with beautiful long-range views. Come explore the mountains while you enjoy the luxurious comfort of this elegantly finished log cabin.
This large family home boasts a huge wrap-around deck with a large hot tub, gas grill, and outdoor dining for 12. Enjoy the cool mountain evenings on the deck or sit on the bench surrounding the fire pit to roast marshmallows.
There are multiple areas inside so everyone can enjoy their own space while being together. The main level has an open floor plan with a well-stocked kitchen, a dining area with seating for 8, and a bar for 3. These adjoin the living area with the gas log fireplace and TV. Upstairs you will find a loft with a game table that seats 6 and a PS3 game system with an assortment of family-friendly games. Downstairs boasts a huge game room with a pool table, PS4 game system, a sleeper sofa, and comfortable chairs so you can enjoy the latest sports or movies on the large Smart TV. You will also find board games and books for all ages throughout the house. Do not forget to check out the garage, where you will find the ping pong table.
Although you may feel remote, Banner Elk is only 4 miles from the cabin, Valle Crucis is 5 miles away, and Boone is less than 30 minutes. Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain are both within 10 miles. Grandfather Mountain and Linville Falls are also nearby.
AWD or 4WD is highly recommended during the winter months if weather conditions are adverse.

Really enjoyed this location! Perfect for our family and great area for travel to Boone or blowing rock as well. Banner elk was such a cute town! This Airbnb was so clean and well kept. We were super comfortable and felt like we were at home.

Nick’s place had everything we need for a cozy weekend in the mountains. A true home away from home, with a well stocked kitchen, and plenty of space for everyone. Would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend to others!
This was a great cabin for the price and conveniently located for skiing at Sugar. The place was clean and had all that we needed. We had to extend our stay for several hours and Nick accommodated for a fair price to extend - which made our trip easier! Would stay again!
