About Whispering Pines
Living area & kitchen: The main level’s open concept living room has cathedral ceilings, exposed beams, comfy seating, smart TV (no Live TV) and a stone wood‑burning fireplace. The adjacent dining area seats six and flows into a well‑equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, granite counters, cookware, dishes and a breakfast bar. A laundry room with a Samsung washer/dryer is off the kitchen.
Bedrooms & baths: The king primary suite on the first floor includes a smart TV, full bath (tub/shower combo) and direct deck access. Upstairs, a queen bedroom with smart TV has its own full bath. A loft overlooking the living room provides a twin bed and another full bath. All baths offer fresh linens and basic toiletries.
Outdoor spaces: Enjoy mountain air from the covered porch and open deck, furnished with rocking chairs, outdoor dining table and a private hot tub. The yard features a stone firepit surrounded by six chairs and a propane grill. Ample parking is available in the gravel driveway.
AWD or 4WD is highly recommended during the winter months if weather conditions are adverse.

My husband and I absolutely loved Nick’s cabin. It was extremely clean, had everything we needed, and was extremely peaceful. We felt right at home, enjoyed relaxing on the back deck, and loved the hot tub. Nick was also very responsive and flexible when we had to change our dates. We would highly recommend this cabin. :)
We had the best stay! Nick was a great host and the cabin was very clean and cute! A great distance from Boone! Very kid friendly! We’d love to come back!
I’ve already sent this listing to two of my friends. I’m already planning my next vacation to North Carolina for the sole purpose of staying at this cabin again. It’s purely heaven on earth. I cannot sing it’s praises enough. Nick was great. The cabin was perfect. 10/10, 5 Stars, A+, 100%. Do yourself a favor, book it.
Thank you Nick for providing a beautiful, peaceful cabin in the woods. The location was convenient to town and in a quiet setting. All the amenities you could ask for were thoughtfully provided. We especially loved the Espresso machine and the outdoor grill. Great time !
Nick’s cabin was perfect for our group of 4 in town for Merlefest in North Wilkesboro. The cabin was surrounded by beautiful wilderness, yet an easy drive to our venue. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware and dinnerware for the meals we prepared. Loved the decor, but most impressive was Nicks responsiveness. In recent years we find customer service is definitely lacking. Nick answered each question in a timely and kind manner. 👍👍
