Welcome to Stone Creek Cabin, a custom-built luxury retreat where mountain-modern design meets peaceful creekside living. Nestled on 2 flat acres in a quiet meadow with valley views and a bold running creek, this 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home is the perfect family-friendly escape just minutes from downtown Boone, Valle Crucis, and the Watauga River.
Designed with comfort and connection in mind, the home features an open layout with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the outdoors in. The chef’s kitchen boasts high-end stainless appliances, leathered granite counters, and seating for up to 14 guests between the dining table and island bar. After dinner, unwind in the spacious living room by the stone fireplace or head outside to the covered deck for a drink by the fire pit.
Enjoy resort-style amenities including a hot tub, pool table, HD Smart TVs throughout, high-speed Wi-Fi, central heat & AC, and a gas grill.
Two king suites (one on the main level, one upstairs) each offer private ensuite baths with custom tile showers and granite vanities. Downstairs, you’ll find a cozy den with sleeper sofa, a game room with pool table, and two additional bedrooms—a queen room and a bunk room with two twin-over-twin bunks—plus a large shared bath with soaking tub.
Step outside to the expansive flat meadow where kids and dogs can run freely (pet-friendly, restrictions apply). The creek at the edge of the property is perfect for wading and exploring.
Whether you’re roasting marshmallows under the stars at the fire pit, grilling dinner on the oversized 40' wide deck with adirondack chairs and polywood dining table, or soaking in the hot tub after a day of adventure, this home is designed for relaxation.

Beautiful cabin in a great location. Nick was great! Lots of communication along key steps. Location is great - just 15 min from downtown Boone. Would definitely rebook here!

Ladies' Trip 2026 - After a delicious meal in Boone (sorry, don't remember the name), we drove the short distance to Vilas to Stone Creek cabin for our two night stay. Everything about the cabin was great! Peaceful & relaxing.....we enjoyed the propane fire pit. Later in the evening, we had a little storm that apparently hit a nearby transformer and knocked out our power. I messaged Nick & he responded very quickly. He had contacted Blue Ridge Energy and they already had a crew in the area. Power was restored within the hour. Obviously, something like that is out of the control of the host(s) and I only mention it to say they were responsive and apologetic for any inconvenience. We all agreed it just made our trip more memorable and were well aware that a lot of folks in the area had recently experienced much worse during Hurricane Helene!! Thanks Nick!
